White Caterpillar
I think this caterpillar is Edwards Wasp Moth (Lymire edwardsii). I’ve seen the moths in the area this autumn. I found the caterpillar last weekend while tending the garden. It is small, about .25 inches long and very fuzzy. At first, I thought it was a piece of cotton or stuffing. At this point, the caterpillar’s color matches the several inches of white snow covering the ground. I hope it’s tucked away!
